The Transcyko range of Cycloidal gearboxes are a motor mounted gearbox, allowing any standard IEC AC or DC motor to be fitted, options exist of having the out put flanged, and is suitable to be mounted horizontally or vertically.
The difference with a cycloidal gearbox is that it uses rollers instead of gears like a conventional helical gearbox, 67% of the rollers are in contact at all times, this large surface contact shares the 500% overload torque capacity making these gearboxes very strong and an obvious choice for heavy duty high shock load applications, Large output bearings allows for high overhung loads.
